Meeting Each Other
We met online and knew very quickly we were meant for each other. From our first date, we felt immediately connected and soon became inseparable. Our shared love for diving, nature, outdoors, music, arts, education, charity, and animals highlighted early on that we have shared values and interests.
Being together felt easy and natural. Lee planned thoughtful and unforgettable dates, from museum visits to shooting together at a range. Each experience reflected care, respect, and intention.
But what truly melted Anna’s heart was seeing Lee with his adorable rescue dog Bella. His deep bond with her and his commitment to animal rescue spoke volumes. For Anna, who is deeply passionate about animal rescue, this love and kindness mattered more than any grand gesture.
The Proposal
On December 14, Lee proposed on the beach, a place with deep meaning for Anna. Years ago, her grandmother’s ashes were spread in the ocean there, making the moment both joyful and emotional in the most beautiful way. The setting felt peaceful and full of connection. No crowd. No noise. Just the sound of the waves, a beautiful question, and a very clear yes.
Our Wonderful Family
We are a family of seven, and we are proud of every member. Bella is a Golden Retriever German Shepherd mix who Lee rescued ten years ago. She is loyal, protective, expressive, and fully convinced she runs the household.
Maia and Maui are rescue kittens adopted by Anna a few months ago in loving memory of Simba and Shasta. They arrived small, curious, and full of energy, and quickly claimed every corner of the house.
Marshmallow joined us two months later – we decided on New Year’s Eve while welcoming the new year in Bonita Springs. A rescue kitten with a soft look and bold confidence who instantly changed the family dynamic.
Lee is also the father of his beautiful daughter Gabriella. He is incredibly proud of her for being accepted to the University of Florida. Becoming a Gators family happened instantly and enthusiastically.
